Mindfulness practice is moving into the mainstream based on more than a 35-year history demonstrating its benefits to individuals in all walks of life. Mindfulness workplace programmes are gaining recognition as an important contributor to building capabilities and skills relevant to today’s fast-changing working environment. Establishing a mindfulness practice is a voluntary undertaking and research shows that this is achieved through qualified teacher-led programmes that include a number of criteria, including support for developing a practice.
Centre for Mindfulness Ireland offers Mindfulness workplace programmes to help empower individuals, groups, and teams to fully participate in their own health and wellness. These programmes offer effective, sustainable, and continually-researched methods for integrating mindfulness into the workplace. The mindfulness-based trainings and services are tailored to your organisational needs and we offer:
- one and two hour training sessions
- half- and full-day trainings
- weekend training seminars
- or tailored to your needs
Research data collected from workplace programmes offered by Center for Mindfulness, University of Massachusettes shows:
- 32% decrease in medical symptoms
- 29% decrease in perceived stress symptoms
- 26.5% increase in acting with self-awareness
- 13% increase in self-efficacy
- 26% increase in observational skills
- 25% increase in non-reactivity
- 22% increase in non-judgement
